At A to Z Fun Care Early Learning Childcare Center, we are dedicated to nurturing the intellectual and character development of every child while promoting their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Our team of leaders and educators is passionate about fostering diversity within our center and actively engaging the community in each child’s educational journey. We strive to inspire children to become lifelong learners, ensuring that every child feels represented and valued in their classroom and throughout the school community. Our educators understand that building meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues is crucial to our success.

As a member of our teaching staff, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Foster a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore, play, and learn.
  • Collaborate with parents who share a common goal of providing the best care and educational experience for their children.
  • Contribute to the center’s success by working closely with fellow staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement.
  • Build positive relationships with families, fellow teachers, state licensing authorities, community partners, and corporate contacts.
  • Implement the Creative Curriculum or other educational programs in a way that caters to the unique needs of each child.

Qualifications: Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Completion of 12 core Early Childhood Education (ECE) units in Infant/Toddler, Preschool, or School Age education
  • 45-hour training in Child Growth and Development
  • 45-hour training specific to Infant and Toddler, Preschool, or School Age education
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or a willingness to obtain these credentials
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or a willingness to pursue this qualification
  • Physical ability to operate a computer, lift at least 40 pounds, and work both indoors and outdoors
  • Capability to engage at low levels to maintain physical and visual contact with children, and the ability to see and hear adequately to ensure their safety while actively participating in activities
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and speaking English to effectively communicate with children and their families
  • All applicants must comply with state-specific guidelines for the role, including Basic Health and Safety, Breastfeeding Course, Inclusion of All Children and ADA training, as well as Child Care and COVID-19 training. Additionally, all aides are required to complete a 3-hour Aide Orientation Training.
